First Central's unique and exciting church school is Grand Central Stations. This school is for age 3 through grade 3. We meet in the Drama Station on the Patio level at 10:40AM, and begin our first activity at 10:45AM. All Stations are on the lower level. Come by and take a look!
This station features drama, puppets, videos, and films.
This station is located across the hall from the Drama Station. The Discovery Station features computers, games to sharpen our Bible skills and knowledge, books, maps, and learning activities.
This station is located two rooms east of the nursery. The Art Station features a variety of art projects and activities to enhance children's knowledge of the stories.
This station is next to the nursery. The Music Station features singing, dancing, stories, and playing musical instruments.
This class for students grades 4-6 meets in the Media Room on the lower level at 10:45 AM during the school year. Topics vary, but generally follow the same Scripture being taught in the Stations. Marian Fey and Chris Steffen teach this class of bright, inquisitive scholars.
This group is for 7th – 12th graders. They meet on Sundays during the school year at 9:10 AM in theYOUth Room on the third floor, for "Defense Against the Dark Arts ... of Real Life." Led by a variety of members, including Rev. Scott Jones, this group will discuss evil, war, death, and a number of other social issues from a faith-based perspective.
