Adult Ed - First Central's Makenzie Schmitt on For All Counseling
For All Counseling is a nonprofit that has provided more than 250 mental health evaluations to people navigating immigration and asylum legal proceedings. In this adult education session, you will learn about the nonprofit’s formation, gain insight into the intersection of mental health and immigration law, hear client stories, and better understand how the landscape has changed over the past year and what that means for people in our community.
Adult Ed with First Tee Omaha
Steve Hogan II will speak on First Tee’s Hogan’s Heroes, a non-profit program in Omaha, Nebraska, founded by the late Steve Hogan, the first African American PGA member in the Nebraska Section, to provide affordable golf access and life skills to youth.
